I thought that I’d put together a post to give you an idea of what happens on a herbal remedies workshop. So here’s a few photos from a herbal remedies workshop I ran in May 2018. The workshop took place in Westwell, Kent, on a glorious spring day.
We started off with a gentle walk along the hedgerows and meadows and looked at various plants that have traditionally been used by herbalists, as well as looking at plants that they might be confused with.
We then moved into the woods and collected more plants, including some for lunch!
And then we all helped out to make a wild foods lunch!
After lunch we sampled a variety of herbal infusions.
And then on to making some herbal ointments.
And then a group photo of everyone before we all departed!
