Shampoo bars aren’t limited to just using on your hair, they’re a super moisturising hand and body soap too!
I’ve used:
Nettles have a high mineral content and when infused in olive oil give a soothing effect on the scalp and therefore make it an effective relief for dry, itchy scalp which can sometimes lead to hair loss. The constituents include silica, which encourages hair regrowth and gives your hair a healthy shiny glow.
Coconut oil as it’s moisturising for a dry scalp and restores lustre and shine to dry, damaged hair.
Olive oil to help relieve an irrited or sensitive scalp and treat dry damaged hair.
Sunflower oil for its conditioning properties.
Caster oil to create a rich, craemy lather, acting as a conditioning element.
Jojoba oil for shine and conditioning.
I’ve also added essential oils:
Rosemary as it stimulates circulation to hair follicles, preventing hair loss and dandruff. It has antiviral and antibacterial properties and has a refreshing scent to revive body and mind.
Eucalyptus because it has anti-inflammatory properties, soothing inflammation on the scalp, stimulating circulation to the scalp and balancing scalp oils.

- glycerine
- rosemary essential oil
- eucalyptus essential oil
My nettle shampoo and body bar is made from 100% natural ingredients, no palm oil, additives or preservatives are used at all!
All of the plants used to make my shampoo bars are carefully hand picked by me so that only the very best are included. The plants are harvested locally and sustainably to ensure that they’re around next year so you can have more wonderful hand made herbal products.
